Newport Beach Restaurant Week 2017 is finally here and I couldn’t be more excited. I absolutely love Restaurant Week! It is the perfect opportunity to re-visit some of my favorite restaurants and experience some I’ve never tried before. This year I’ve decided I’m going to do a little of both. Here are my top picks for NB Restaurant Week 2017. Be sure to follow along all week as I give a more in-depth look at the Restaurant Week menu’s for each of these great local picks. The Ritz Prime Seafood
$50 Dinner Menu

The Ritz Prime Seafood is a classic Newport Beach restaurant with amazing views of the harbor. I’ve heard such wonderful things about The Ritz Prime Seafood and decided this was a perfect opportunity to give them a try. Their menu looks amazing and is actually the only restaurant to offer Foie Gras on their Newport Beach Restaurant Week 2017 menu. I also happen to do my research and know that this menu was specially curated just for Restaurant Week. Trust me when I tell you this is a great thing, as many of the restaurants aim to impress. Restaurant Week in Orange County is used as a way to introduce the very best to new potential costumers and The Ritz Prime Seafood is the perfect example. With dishes like Spanish Octopus with fingerling potatoes and shaved asparagus or Sea Bass with english peas, vichyssoise, and meyer lemon, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to give a more in-depth look at this amazing restaurant and their specially curated dinner menu.

Oak Grill
$20 Lunch Menu | $40 Dinner Menu

Oak Grill is like a Newport Beach staple. It’s definitely a go-to brunch spot for all the girls on the weekend, but I can’t believe I still haven’t tried them for dinner. Obviously, Newport Beach Restaurant Week 2017 is the perfect time to see if their dinner is just as awesome as their brunch. I absolutely love beets and cannot wait to try their Golden Beet Soup with pea tendrils and sorrel oil. I am also a huge fan of Short Rib and that Kale and Pork Belly Salad sound amazing. With their great attention to detail, I have no doubt this will be a fantastic meal.

Red O
$20 Lunch Menu | $40 Dinner Menu

Red O is another popular Newport Beach restaurant that my girlfriends and I frequent all the time. In fact, my girlfriend just celebrated New Years there a few weeks ago. Located right at Fashion Island this popular restaurant features delicious upscale Mexican cuisine. Their beautiful decor makes you feel like you’re enjoying dinner in a trendy Moroccan Casbah. My favorite appetizers, the duck taquitos and goat cheese tamales, are on both their lunch and dinner menu. They also have a killer Filet Mignon so taking full advantage of Red O’s NB Restaurant Week menu’s is a no-brainer.

Hornblower Cruises
$50 Dinner Menu (Friday & Saturday Only)

Maybe you want to enjoy a fun night out and some dancing with your dinner. Then how awesome is it that Hornblower Cruises is participating in Newport Beach Restaurant Week 2017. We all love a great ocean view and it doesn’t get much better than enjoying a three-hour cruise aboard a three-story yacht. Guests will enjoy a four-course meal, champagne toast, an evening of great views, and of course dancing. Hornblower Cruises will also be honoring the same price for their Saturday and Sunday brunch. Sign me up!
