Back Bay Bistro is a favorite among locals because of their amazing food and stunning views of the Newport Beach Harbor. Located at The Newport Dunes they are the perfect restaurant for locals and travelers alike. For spring they have added some tasty new items and made some fan favorite dishes permanent fixtures on their revamped menu.
For starters, we recommend one of their new popular spring cocktails. The Blueberry Bliss Martini pairs perfectly with their exquisite Little Neck Clams in white wine butter sauce.
I also love the new addition of French Onion Soup to their menu. I’m a huge fan of French Onion Soup. I mean, just look at that beautiful ooey gooey cheese. The French Onion Soup at Back Bay Bistro is traditional, classic, and full of flavor just as it should be.
For entrees, we could not resist getting the King Salmon. It is served with fresh spring English pea risotto and a delicious chardonnay sauce that is insanely delicious. I cannot recommend it enough!
Though not part of the new Spring menu, Back Bay Bistro also has awesome monthly specials like this months Rack of Lamb. I order Lamb almost every chance I get and this is one of my absolute favorites. It features a mustard and fresh herb crust with goat cheese polenta, and mint jus.
Some other new additional to their spring menu include the Back Bay Salad with blueberries, blue cheese, and pecans. They also revamped their Ahi Tuna Tower and have added a new outstanding Pan Seared John Dory with Wild Mushroom Risotto.
In addition to their new revamped menu, the Back Bay Bistro holds some spectacular events.
On June 18th for Father’s Day they will have an Epic $60 Bottomless Champagne Brunch Buffet. Enjoy a seafood station, carving station, fresh off the grill selections, omelet station, and dessert display. This is going to be one of the best Father’s Day buffets complete with the most beautiful views of the Newport Harbor.
